Net Neutrality and the solution

Just read a very good idea.

As you know AT&T and friends are trying to make the internet more expensive so that only websites that make big money can afford to have a large reader base.

So to get the fastest bandwidth AT&T wants to charge Google to provide you the data you want and have already paid AT&T to get.

GOP likes it.

But here is key to defeat it....The major winners are porn sites!  This is a GOP porn sponsorship bill.

If you can control the net-neutrality name and instead call it the faster porn bill it dies.

Democracy under attack LA District attorney prosecutes Diabold wistle blower...

Steve Cooley is the Los Angelous DA and he is prosecuting the wistle blower who gave documents proving that diabold has machines that are unfit for honest election work.

Please write to Steve and tell committ to him to contribute money to at least one of his political opponents or the political opponents of those he endorses.

Alternately look up who he has endorsed and write to them that you have chosen to contribute to their opponents due to steve cooley being so set against democracy.

BUSH NOMINATES GANNON

=)

Donkey's strategy of Mocking GOP....................

We are playing the GOP's game.  Serious talk can be twisted and at a gut level most people think Republicans are more "serious" that democrats.  That is why on war and terrorism we tend to lose.  All Republican's have to do is get people to believe it is serious, that there is a crisis in Social Security, WMDs etc.  That its "HARD WORK" that critics don't understand how serious it is etc etc etc.

Dean being Angry.  Durbin being sad.  Some others beign afraid.  These are all emotional responses and interpreted as weak or volotile.  Its easy to twist these responses as being less serious than the few words of Bush.  Seriously his campaign slogan was only just shy of "you know I am wrong but you know I am serious about being wrong".

What we need is to mock.  Mock Bush on his middle east policy.  Mock Bush on his economic policy.  Mock his looting of our dollars to pay his friends at Haliburton etc etc etc.  But not subjective mocking, not I think war is wrong and you should too if you are a human being please please side with me mocking.

I seek objective, undeniable mocking.  Specifically video of Bush saying the middle east won't be a priority for this administration like it was for the last.  ( not a direct quote but there is a clip very similiar).

Or Rumsfield getting PO'ed when people suggested that gitmo may have a torture problem BEFORE it occured.

Or Bush and his economic numbers and how wrong he was etc....

Or Bush WMD etc......

Be careful it needs to be objective, verified and factually non-contraversial with the only subjective part being the viewers interpretation of the facts.  Don't say Bush was wrong about WMD, show a clip of Bush saying there are WMD and another saying there was never any evidence etc...

Be conservative (as in not risky) about it because Rove and crew are better at this than we are...

Does anyone know who makes the DEM commercials?  I can white board commercials if there is someone to submit them to....

Attack ad for Jeb Bush when he runs for pres.....

50 Style mocumentary like starship troopers.

"From the same people who brought you Torture, Censored Media, Unverifiable Democracy, Secret Detentions and Secret Trials with the origional BIG BROTHER comes BIG BROTHER part II !!!"

Thats right folks you asked for it and they intend to deliver.  With words like "Patriot", "Terrorist", "Security" and "WMD" this new BIG BROTHER will finish off what the first BIG BROTHER started...so lets party like its 1984!!!

All of the assertions need a real graphic behind them that is un-disputable like a pic of torture or a pic of National Review headline or some other aspect that conservatives can't ignore...

Simple effective and relatively cheap way to stop GOP

SNL campaign.

Stop Nazi Light.  Use the same approach as the Truth.com ads.

Show clearly, factually, without any rabid partianship how the Bush administration has moved us closer to the policies of the Nazi party.

Supressing News?  Check.....Soundbite of Hitler,  Soundbite of Bush.

Torturing opponents?  Check  lots of photo evidence....

Trying to arrest news reporters?  Check...

Hostile words to Syria, Iran, North Korea, China, check...

Double speak....check....

Why can't someone with a few million put together the ads I know the video clips exist that would do almost all the work without having to actually say much.....

Example...Newsweek is critisized,  Newsweek agrees not to use anonymous sources,  Pentagon confirms abuse including urine abuse of koran...  Big Brother says don't tell.....

Example....Torture...Rumsfiled gave an interview prior to abu garief in which he went ape shit when it was suggested us soldiers could comit torture if the situations were not clearly defined to prevent it.

Example unification of the media........The debate on that must have produced tons of sound and video clips...

These are things that scare conservatives and would cause right leaning moderates to alter course...

Stealing from the government?  Rumsfield and bush lost what a billion dollars to their buddies because of poor planning in Iraq regarding post fighting issues.

Durbin does to GOP what Dean did to us.

He said the GOP supports torture and Gitmo is a discrace to America.  Google his name for the quote.

This is our wedge.  They got all pissy and gave it media coverage see Drudge etc.  Problem is America agrees with us.  We win.  But more importantly the rank and file GOP agrees with us.  Torture is not just un-American it is also un-Christian AND un-Republican (at least pre W republican).  Simple issue ordinary Americans know where they stand and know who to side with and its us.

Dean with the Christian comments needs to learn from those who are doing it right.  The stand up and fight attitude is right but if you point the wrong end of the gun and pull the trigger it doesn't make you a hero.

Why Dean is killing the Democratic party-List.

I want to express to you why I don't like Deanism and am completely against the unDemocratic wing of the Democratic party and its leader "the good doctor" Howard Dean

  1.  Deanism is about a very vocal minority in the Democratic party trying to wrestle control from the majority and move the party left.  Lets be honest about this, majority movements WIN elections.  Dean didn't.  No excuses, no conspiracy.  No the masses are stupid and I am smarter than them BS.  Dean didn't win because he doesn't represent the majority of the democratic party.  The Kerries and the Edwards do.  Face the facts.  If the party structure allows a minority to over rule the majority then we are not DEMOCRATIC.  Dean is the unDemocratic wing leader.

  2.  Dean reminds non-Dean supporters of a cult.  "the good doctor" would freak you out if you heard a religious organization use it to refer to their leader.  It honestly freaks out those who haven't drank the Dean kool-aid.

  3.  Deaniacs is an all too accurate title.  Dean supporters jump all up and down when ever anything negative about Dean is mentioned by anyone.  Clinton supporters don't do this, or any other Democratic leader's supporters.

  4.  Dean supporters don't play team ball.  Their motivation is to destroy the Dem candidates to the right of Dean, one by one.  Obama said Dean made a mistake?  Well Obama sucks....blah blah blah etc.  If they worked for the GOP they would not have a greater negative effect.

  5.  Dean despite having some very good qualities is not very good at politics.  Christianity as a wedge issue is beyond stupid for us.  For the GOP sure 87% of them and 57% of us are christian so they want to be GOD's OFFICIAL PARTY.  If we were smart we would be fighting to be GOD's party because thats where the votes are.  There are no votes in saying they are God's party....again Deanism is benifiting the GOP

  6.  Dean is crying wolf.  When you say Republican's don't have honest jobs its like saying Democrats are on welfare.  There may be more lazy rich republicans (there may not as there are a lot of dems like this too) or dems on welfare (again this may not be so either as many republicans in poor states are on state welfare and my cali pays a lot more than it gets so we dems are paying for some red state welfare)    but in general people know a lot of republicans and a lot of democrats and in their own personal experience they know that republicans in general work as hard as democrats in general.  They even notice that we have political families that had cushie lives just like goppies do.

  7.  The scream.  Like it or not that is a career killer and will haunt the party for as long as dean is in leadership.  Not because it is a scream, it wouldn't hurt Bill Clinton.  Its because it really does express a characteristic of Dean that the majority is uncomfertable with.  And by uncomfertable I mean they don't want that and will fight to not have it uncomfertable so don't talk about well they can just get comfertable.  When the majority doesn't feel someone in a Democracy then that someone and all who are tied to that someone are politically dead.

I know many of you think that all the people who didn't vote for Dean in the primary are ignorant or GOP lite or were bought off by money or were afraid of losing to Bush or whatever it is you tell yourself to not listen to others in your party.  But the majority of our party are not represented by Dean.  The longer this goes on the more we risk losing those people to the GOP.
