Democracy under attack LA District attorney prosecutes Diabold wistle blower...

Steve Cooley is the Los Angelous DA and he is prosecuting the wistle blower who gave documents proving that diabold has machines that are unfit for honest election work.

Please write to Steve and tell committ to him to contribute money to at least one of his political opponents or the political opponents of those he endorses.

Alternately look up who he has endorsed and write to them that you have chosen to contribute to their opponents due to steve cooley being so set against democracy.

Dude, he stole documents from his law firm.  That's a no-no.  

Sometimes the cost of martyrdom for a cause is that, yes, you have to suffer.

Although state law protects whistle-blowers from retaliation by their employers, they can still be criminally prosecuted, said Tom Devine, legal director at the Washington, D.C.-based Government Accountability Project.

"It's very rare that it's successful," he said. "It's a tactic where the primary goal may be to scare other would-be whistle-blowers rather than a realistic attempt to obtain a conviction."

Cooley's going out of his way to intimidate folks who might step forward to help save our democracy.  He's chosen his side. We should choose ours.

No attorney work product privilege involved, and if Ellsberg was criminally prosecuted . . . well, to be a martyr, sometimes you have to suffer.
